During the next few weeks, you will be able to see a new ‘A’ frame added onto the BLOG every few days. Make it easy on yourself and subscribe to the blog: the button is on the right side of the page. For now, here’s a start… Stay tuned!
2- “The Cover” - In many ways this piece functions like a cover of a book: it gives you enough information to allow you to understand what S50 is and push you to want to learn more, but doesn’t scare you off by getting into too much detail. People like to read a ton of text only when they’re at home and relaxed. When they’re out and about, their brains are excited and they really just want to read something simple, especially if they have no idea what they’re about to see. A ton of text will scare people and this piece won’t function well if you fill it with text. It flows well with “The Arrow” ‘A’ frame and follows it up: repetition, right? Logos in the same spaces to reinforce them, plus I’ve tossed in the website address, in case someone doesn’t have time to check out the show, but they still want to know more about it. Great logo here designed by Lauren Brandt from North Idaho College design program. Thanks to design professor Philippe Valle for inviting the collaboration. I’ve been mentoring them. They get advice and stories about how to succeed as an artist/designer. We get an awesome logo. Win/win/win. They win, S50 wins, and the community wins.
